The Basil-Tov Cocktail
Ingredients:
2 oz Bulrush Gin
.75 oz fresh lemon juice
.75 oz simple syrup (equal parts water to sugar)
*4 drops basil oil:
500 ml vegetable oil
100g basil leaves
1g salt
Directions:
To make the cocktail, add gin, lemon, and syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Double strain into a martini glass and top with four drops of basil oil.
*To make the basil oil, shock basil leaves in an ice bath for 1 minute. Add all ingredients into a blender. Strain through fine mesh and store in a squeeze bottle.
